A little while ago, we were able to bring you a look at the cover art from the Lilo And Stitch 2-disc set, as released in Guatemala, thanks to Animated News reader Vinicio Mckay. Now he’s gone one better, with a series of screen captures that reveal the original ending to the film, in which alien Stitch stole a 747 jet plane to rescue Lilo, instead of a space craft. This alternate ending is rumored to be appearing on the official US edition of the 2-disc set, due in early 2005. What’s most exciting, is that the scene looks to be in completely finished animation quality! Check out the stills here:
