11/30/2007: "Grandma Got Run Over by a lawsuit; Goofy employee sues Disney"

TMZ has obtained information that the Fred Rappoport Company, one of the producers behind the animated Christmas special Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, is suing Elmo Shropshire, singer of the popular Christmas tune upon which the show is based. According to Rappoport, Shropshire interfered in a $1 million merchandising deal regarding the special.

In other animated lawsuit news, TMZ has also acquired a class action lawsuit directed at Disney, filed by Amber Galloway. Employeed at Disney’s Goofy restaurant, Galloway alleges that Disney Worldwide Services ignored California labor laws by discouraging breaks and overworking the staff.
