11/15/2007: "What do Beowulf, Enchanted, and Fritz The Cat all have in common?"
A recent article on Rotten Tomatoes touches on Beowulf and Enchanted, two upcoming theatrical features that make use of both animation and live-action techniques, as well as other films that have explored this technical territory, including Ralph Bakshi’s animated movies of the 70’s. The story also mentions that while live-action/animation hybrids were once a novelty element, they are now frequently used in many film franchises, such as Lord Of The Rings.
