06/28/2008: "$65M opening weekend in sight for Wall•E"
The Pixar masterpiece exceeded expectations with an estimated $23.3M gross yesterday for what should be a $64-67M three-day weekend. That would make it the third biggest opening for a non-sequel animated film, behind Pixar’s own Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. Congratulations to everyone at Disney/Pixar!
