03/16/2008: "The Sword in the Stone and The Jungle Book 2 DVDs in June"
UltimateDisney reports that Disney has announced The Sword in the Stone: 45th Anniversary Edition and The Jungle Book 2: Special Edition DVDs for release on June 17th. The Sword in the Stone disc will get a 1.66:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby 5.1 remix. Bonus features will include Disney Song Selection, a new “Merlin’s Magic Academy” game, “Music Magic: The Sherman Brothers”, Bonus movie shorts and much more. Also, according to the site, Disney’s 2003 sequel The Jungle Book 2 will resurface in a Special Edition on the same day featuring Song Selection, “Mowgli’s Jungle Ruins Maze” game, “The Legacy of The Jungle Book”, 2 music videos, and the new “Mowgli’s Story Time Adventure” game.
