04/28/2008: "Thumbs down for modern children’s films?"

An article featured on Guardian criticizes modern children’s films for failing their audiences. The story claims that many current animated releases such as Ratatouille, The Incredibles, and Shark Tale are pandering too much to the older members of their audiences, and in doing so forgetting to entertain kids. The running time of newer animated films is also seen as a problem, with the author of the article stating that 2 hour-long movie is too lengthy a time for a child to endure.
