03/22/2008: "Trey Parker and Matt Stone talk South Park and more"

matt-trey.jpgAV Club has an interview with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone wherein they talk about the show, writing the hardest episodes and why they don’t want to make any more movies. Parker also talks about his collaboration with Matt over the years, the show’s tight schedule and why he never enjoyed making it. According to him, “It’s always been totally stressful, totally just wanting to kill yourself every day because you’re under so much stress, and feel like there’s no way you can pull it off, and all of that stuff. And then when it’s over, when the season’s done and you’re proud of what you did, then you totally enjoy it.”
