06/16/2008: "Wall-E at the Needle"

An image of Wall-E checking out “the Seattle sights, developing a special – though not surprising interest in the city’s landmark Space Needle” has just been released by the Walt Disney Studios and can be viewed here:

- From Academy Award®-winning writer-director, Andrew Stanton, Disney•Pixar’s WALL•E is the heartfelt story of one robot’s comic adventures as he chases his dream across the galaxy. The film opens in theatres Friday, June 27, 2008.

- Built in 1962, the Space Needle served as the symbol of that year’s World’s Fair. It has since become the symbol of Seattle, and one of the most recognizable structures in the world.
