06/15/2004 Archives: "Tintin traveling forward?"

'The Abominable Snowman' at Ain't It Cool News writes that during a visit to Stockholm, Sweden, Hergé Moulinsart's widow, Fanny Rodwell, told reporters that she has read and approved a first draft for Spielberg's Tintin movie. Because Fanny Rodwell and her husband Nick Rodwell are responsible for the Hergé Foundation, they acquire final say on all things Tintin. Spielberg now has the green light from the Foundation to do the movies. Despite Rodwell's not saying which album Spielberg is doing, rumors point to "The Secret Of The Unicorn" and "Red Rackham's Treasure."
