09/02/2005 Archives: "Walt Disney's Hometown Toonfest to be held this September"

Marceline, Missouri, once home to Walt Disney, will host Walt Disney's Hometown Toonfest, taking place September 16 - 17. Cartoonists and their fans alike will be present at the event, as it celebrates the time that Disney lived in the little town of Marceline, from 1906 - 1911, in addition to honoring the cartoonists that continue even today to pursue Walt's vision.
