12/08/2005 Archives: "Disneyland Christmas Tree and Celebrity Ornaments"

With only a few hours to go Disney is auctioning off a Christmas tree at eBay decorated with Mickey Mouse head-shaped ornaments that have themselves been signed and decorated by a long list of celebrities such as Hugh Jackman, Eva Longoria, Bob Newhart, Deborah Harry, and Johnny Knoxville. Of interest to animation fans is an ornament decorated by Little Mermaid animator Glen Keane. "Net proceeds from this auction will make the holidays a bit brighter for young victims of the Gulf Coast hurricanes and deserving children across the nation, as Disneyland and the Celebrities partnered together for this unique fundraising effort, which will benefit the Toys for Tots Foundation."
