A new article at BackStage reveals that while the pair failed to make it to the list of seven movies eligible for the Best Visual Effects Oscar, both Tim Burton's Corpse Bride and Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit were among the final fifteen films once considered for the award.
