03/14/2006 Archives: "Official Cars site rolled out"

The official website for Cars is now live at www.carsthemovie.com. Starting with Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson), new models will be rolled out weekly in the Cars Showroom throughout the next two months. Users will be able to:

• Check out stats and fun facts for each car character, including Lightning McQueen, Sally the Porche (Bonnie Hunt), Doc Hudson the Hudson Hornet (Paul Newman), Mater the Tow Truck (Larry the Cable Guy) and many more!
  
• View 360-degree turnarounds of each car, as well as close-ups of car parts
  
• Take a look at car ads
  
• Download Wall Papers, Animated Signatures, and AIM Icons
  

More features will be added soon, including an interactive poster, games, and music. Cars opens in theaters on June 9.
