08/24/2006 Archives: "Mermaid swims again at the El Cap"

A new Walt Disney Pictures press release divulges the details of the upcoming two and a half week run of The Little Mermaid at the El Capitan Theatre from September 7-24. The opening night presentation will begin with a panel discussion featuring Don Hahn, directors John Musker & Ron Clements, Ariel's voice actor, Jodi Benson, her animator, Glen Keane, and her live-action reference model, Sherri Stoner, as well as a screening of the recent short film The Little Matchgirl, itself based on a Hans Christian Andersen tale.
