10/20/2006 Archives: "Flushed Away pays homage to sci-fi and fantasy"

With SCI FI Wire, Sam Fell and David Bowers share some of inside gags to be found in their latest picture, Flushed Away. Noticing the movie's cast, which includes such sci-fi and fantasy veterans as Hugh Jackman and Ian McKellen, the directors decided to include a parade of sight jokes, riffing on such films as the Lord of the Rings and X-Men trilogies.
