I saw that, Meg. At comingsoon.net.

Anybody know who this "Sandman" is in the strip?

I've seen that poster. Sweet image! :D

But is he really going to wear a black suit?

Yup. Although it's not *really* a suit...(hint-hint wink-wink nudge-nudge cough-cough etc.)

Is it really black? Or drained out color?

You can see red on his chest and head, where it should be...

Sony has confirmed Spider-Man - or Venom, as some fans have suggested - is black in that picture.

I can't wait! :D

Topher Grace and James Franco are gonna rock. Have their been any photos of the new Green Goblin?

From the poster, I gather it's going to be an even darker take on Spidey...

Nope. I've sen some behind-the-scenes photos and footage, but so far Sony has only released only two 'official' images.

He looks like he's mourning for something lost in that poster. It could be a lot of things--Harry's friendship? Something with Mary Jane?

The rain coming down indicates a definete serious tone.

Again, we all know what happened to Gwen in the strip. He could be upset about that.

Oooh, that's an interesting thought!

(For future reference, 'strip' usually referes to a comic strip found in a newspaper.) ;)

Yeah, that's probably correct.

I only read Spider-Man in the newspaper. I've read a few of the comics, but not too many.

Still, Gwen's fate is one of those things that everyone seems to know about for some reason.
